bad rear end

When i look at my steer from behind he just doesnt look good. He isn't boxy, hes round. And hes not very think, hes thin. any help?

what breed, what are you feeding him & how much, how much does he weigh. can you post a pic?

he weighs jsut over 1000 and im feeding 20lbs a day and ive been feeding showmaster finisher the whole time because that is what my breeder told me to do, is that a mistake? and i dont have a recent pic but ill get one and post it tomorrow. thanks![/url]

Showmaster is a good feed, but has to much molasses in it, makes the meat very fatty. how long to you walk your steer? true walking him a little more, try and gey dome muscle on his rear end. other than that, you cant make a steers butt boxy if its against his genetics.

i agree with daisy do some walkig and add a slight slope if you can
