Off hand I would say you are about right. Or to put it another way, It's no country for old men!

I changed from anti personnel to FMJ on the house gun (9mm) as I wanted to be able to send a message through the wall. And that's all I'm going to say about that....

Never had hold of one yet. Have a NIB Henry 410 that I have never tried. I just like the looks and feel of it. I'm well covered with 9mm for in house work. I would probably be more interested in a 44 mag were I to consider acquiring one. They are cute little buggers!

Possum on the half shell gets a little tiresome. Won't belong before there will be some bald eagle eggs in the cottonwood on the Never Never. A oouple of eagle eggs and some fryin size spotted owl, maybe some grits and I'm set for all day. Sold a cow the other day and had to go to a bank to...

    Fourth of July in Canada?

Just saw this. We buried the hatchet 10 Sept 2010 after 232 years, (Saratoga). I have a 1st cousin (at least 6 x removed with whom I communicate regularly. They aren't much for the 4th and we don't bother them about Boxing day. They're mostly Catholic and we're mostly not. Same with...

    Sustainable Agriculture?

You dead on RDFF. Rotational grazing has been a game changer for me. One of the many things I learned is , if you only give cattle what they can eat in a day and do it day after day they will start eating everything in front of them, weeds and all. I suppose this is true with all ruminants. I...

That makes more sense than jawing about the color of a cow or the ears and hump on your bull.

    Counting Your Money

So we had 60 cows have and raise 60 calves without any opens or death loss and we made a thousand dollars an acre that we can't spend? How can we help you?

    Counting Your Money

"If you had a 60 cow herd and sold 60 calves for $60,000" Good grief! Sometimes and old blog puts a different perspective on things.

    Sustainable Agriculture?

Agree, Iron and oil between the sun and the ground always looks more productive than a spreadsheet from the road. Another one is the slow downward spiral of assets when choosing weaning weight per calf as opposed to lbs of beef produced per acre.

Oy vey! I really like some of the 'groaners' you offer. They are so Bidenesque that I thought you would appreciate some applause. For you to think otherwise makes my heart heavier than a bucket of hog livers. Now for hopeful> Adonai! Adonai! Only You could bring me to this day that I might...
