JD M Series and E Series

Little added opinion on the E series,, on another post, I had asks for input on the Case IH Farmall 100C I just purchased. I got no response. But, I'm good friends with my John Deere salesman he had me look at the 5100E and 5100M before this purchase. In my opinion the 5100E wasn't comparable...

    2017 CASE IH Farmall 100C

I just traded for one, loader tractor w/ cab and front wheel assist, any experience out there with one of these machines. I really wanted a 110hp but couldn't find one around close. 100hp utility tractors around here are a hot item. Thanks B&G

    Portable 1 Ton Feed Bin/Buggy

GWS, makes great products. I have two of their 3 ton creep feeders as well as a 3 ton portable bulk bin. Their creep feeders have a poly bottom which was a sell for me. The bulk bin I never pull as I found a place that delivers for cheaper that I can go get it plus its better feed. With the...

Thanks Sky, my thoughts were, with me doing excavating work full time and I sub all my dump trucks, I thought this option would allow me to haul silage as well as use this trailer for other things. B&G

    Hauling Silage with?

Sky, couldn't open your pics. Where I'm getting it is only 5miles away so, I thought i would just haul in small loads as to not have to worry about mold etc. I thought I'd just haul like 4 to 5 ton at a time. But I thought I'd put maybe 1' side boards on it. Then scoop it up and feed it in bale...

    Hauling Silage with?

Does anyone have experience with hauling silage in this type of trailer? Cause of the drought conditions here and cost of what hay can be found, I'm going to buy/haul silage as I need it and feed in conjunction with hay. Before I purchase this trailer, is there anything that should stop me? Also...

Stock Trailer Widths... Does it matter?

Were they factory tires? Most tires that come out on trailers are junk. I replace them with quality 14 ply tires and have no problems! B&G

Stock Trailer Widths... Does it matter?

Now days the standard width is 6'8". Some make 7' their standard width. But, to answer your question, with todays cattle, I wouldn't look at a trailer that was anything but 6'8" or wider JMHO. A 7'6" or 8' trailer does make a difference with what you can haul. But, the wider ones are pricey. B&G

    Older Aluminum Livestock Trailer Value?

Update: I did make the trip and get this little trailer! Boy, I'm glad I did this thing like new condition. I've already had like five people try and buy it. So, the 7 hour trip was worth the effort. Thanks for you alls input. B&G

    16' cme trailer

Are they torsion or spring axles? As far as the bearings if you rock the wheels back and forth a listen and feel for play/slop that will tell you if the bearing are needing attention. B&G
