    Cube feeder question

Bought me a new cube feeder for my truck so I can get away from buckets and hauling feed. I love it and wish I had done it years ago but i'm having a small problem that may go away on its own as the paint wears off the dispensing spout. The cube's are falling off the side of the spout because...

    Drink Holder for Cab Tractor

I got one with 3 large suction cups on it that i stick on the windshield. It is a two compartment and it works pretty good, but every once in a while it falls off, which is very irritating. :( I need to epoxy it or something. Luckily so far when it dumps i don't have a drink in it, but one of...

    Vermeer 5400 vs 5410

We have a 5410 and love it! I would get the net wrap if you can, you wont be sorry. You can select the no of wraps on the monitor and it loads really easy. You can always go to twine by just a push of a button. We had an older JD 435 and there is no comparison. Looked at a 5400 before we got...

    John Deere AC

Used to have a 4230 and i bought my compressors from Oreillys, they come empty so make sure you get the right oil for it. I had pretty good luck, just make sure you change the drier and evacuate good and keep the belt tight. They are early model GM compressors and you need to use your old brackets.

    Identify cube feeder brand

Over a hundred miles from home looking for a used farm truck that i had seen on Autotrader and i pulled up to a dealer lot and sitting in the doorway to the service entrance was "my feed box" on a truck waiting for service. Talk about surprise, anyway turns out it's a bar six and i shouldn't...

    Identify cube feeder brand

The switch that runs the auger is broken and i can't tell what kind i need to replace it with. It's just a broken nub of a switch now. Also there is no solenoid and i can't yet figure out how it was being used. There is a guy not too far from here that makes feeders, might get him to look at it.

    Identify cube feeder brand

http://ranchers.net/photopost/showphoto ... puser/2741 Can anyone tell me what company made this feeder? I bought it at an auction and need a part for it, it has no markings on it anywhere and it looks too good to be shop built

    JD 6405 tractor

I like the looks of them, esp the transmission. It is a console shift with a left hand reverser. There is one for sale at an auction near here tomorrow. I would love to buy it, but i'm sure it will go higher than i can pay.

Called another dealer awhile ago and he sold the Lucas, but he also had the Stoney Point for sale and in stock. He said the reason for the straight across axles was for stability while transporting. He said that was about all they sold now. He also priced me one with a cylinder for $3200. Which...

    Mower Caddy

Both the Lucas and the Stoney Point are built here in Oklahoma. The Lucas is built about 30 miles from where i live and the Stoney Point is in Stillwell. I'm going to check on the wheel placement more. I'm sure both kinds work ok, but there has to be some reason for each way it's done.

Sounds good, kinda like one of the salesman told me. He said something about lifting the mower when you are transporting it. I think i would rather pay a little extra and get the cylinder lift just in case i ever need it. I think some brands may come with the hydraulic cylinder as std eqip.

Price was without hydraulics. One guy at the dealer said i needed it and on a different day another salesman said i didn't need the hydraulics, if you don't get the hydraulic cylinder it comes std with a manual ratchet adj. that should work, but i'm kinda confused as to which way to go.

Only one i priced was the Stoney Point and it was $3850 if i remember right. It is well made and sold by the Krone dealer.

Yes i have looked at Lucas and a couple others. All the others have offset wheels and i'm just wondering which is best. Hate to buy one or the other without hearing from someone who has one.
