    Yeti/ Sasquatch ?

Real or myth? Maybe you have seen one but too afraid to speak out? Myself I would love to see one, but only during the day and within the vicinity of a getaway car.

    Would this be dangerous ?

Having a bit of a farm clear up, the bonfire night clear up wasn't enough so doing another. Would it be dangerous to put this half barrel of old fertiliser (yes the ammonia nitrate kind) on top a bonfire?

    Calf freak out on tubing

We had a big bull calf born today with a dodgy front leg so he's a bit wobbly standing and his mum has a low udder ( she's on the cull list) so I'm sure he hadn't fed so I tubed him twice today with 1l colostrum. Thing is he completely freaked out whilst doing this as if I was pouring hot magma...

You don't see this much in England anymore

Whereas in America and other new worlds you may drove your cattle with horses or atvs across plains, valleys and rivers but here in the uk we've always moved our cattle along the country roads, in the past people used to get a little fed up with it (possibly) especially since city people moved...

Your favourite rainy weekend day blockbuster to watch?

As far as I'm aware the term blockbuster was coined when Jaws came along so any film choice needs to be post 1975 and needs to have made loads of money at the box office that is the criteria and seeing as there are few good films after 2005 is why I listed mostly 80s and 90s films.

How do you treat pink eye?

Interested as some vets in the company we use say a syringe to the eyelid is the most effective whilst others say in the rump + topical is just as effective. Who to believe?

    Skin walker ranch thoughts

Its the season finale tomorrow in my territory and I'm looking forward to it. For any not familiar (which would surprise me) its a ranch in Utah in the uintah basin that's been described as the Disney world of the paranormal. Cattle mutilations, abnormally large wolves, poltergeist activity...

They were wrapped on Tuesday so they are only 4 days old, I know its not ideal to feed them this but is there any health risk to feed cattle newly wrapped bales? The grass was fairly dry although not hay dry. We could pass on doing this but just wondered what people thought as it is an option as...
