We had a pretty good run with this little heifer this past weekend. 1WSFC LAYLA was named Reserve Grand Champion Red Angus female. I was pretty pleased with her, especially since she was the youngest heifer in the breed as an April, and this was her first time out. We will continue to develop her and see where she goes from here. Anyone who is familiar with Red Angus genetics, she is purely canadian. She is sired by LCA Haggard (Detour x Smash Miss) from a Kargo x Lakima 76M cow.
