There's no chance me seeing them here in Central Texas but at least in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana there is a very good chance.
 
We could see them fairly well here in east central Ohio as well. By the naked eye there really isn't much to look at, it looked like maybe there was a town north of us, slightly lighting up the sky. But theres no town there. But when you take a picture, it looks like its light outside and the sky is pink/purple.

I worked in Alaska for 6 years so I have seen them a lot. That was over 40 years ago. But I had no idea they were out here last night. Neighbor took some pretty good pictures of them.
