Coincidently, I had a vision about this very thing early this morning, and it was clear as mud. Colts come out hot and jump to an early 17-3 lead, helped out by two Saints turnovers. Saints recover to close to 17-13 at halftime. As usual, Manning and the Colts offense figure everything out at halftime, the defense bends but doesn't break, and the Colts take a 31-16 lead into the fourth quarter. After a profanity laced tounge-lashing from Kim Kardashian, the Saints mount a furious rally and close to within 31-29, failing on a 2-point conversion with 5:15 left. Manning and the Colts then use short passes, mixed with a few running plays, to eat up the clock and score with 48 seconds left. Reggie Bush fumbles the ensuing kickoff, the Colts recover, Kim storms out of the stadium in disgust, and the Colts win 38-29. Since the Saints had been saying for two weeks that they were going to make Manning pay for being possibly the best QB that ever lived, and the referees were on high alert, the Saints were flagged for four roughing the passer penalties, all coming at critical times. Gov. Bobby Jindal has to call the National Guard in to quell post game riots in New Orleans, and the sports talking heads have a field day for weeks talking about whether it was a good idea for the Saints to announce their intention to hurt Manning. On the other hand, none of my previous visions have even come close to what actually happened. I'm hoping to see a good, clean game and may the best team win. I'll be rooting for the Colts, but I won't lose any sleep either way.
