    T-post one, me zero

Reminds me of a dad/grandpa story. They trucked for everyone in the country. Went to haul corn for old man Brown back in the old days. Motor was weak on the auger, so Brown gave it a spin to get it started, but caught his finger between the belt and pulley. Grandpa helped him take his glove...

    T-post one, me zero

I usually use a paper shop towel wrapped in black tape, keeps the blood contained.

solar eclipse April 8. This town is going nuts over it.

We were clear as a bell. Watched at my brothers house, when it started getting dark his horses came to the barn like it was evening time. Quite a few people in town from elsewhere. I had to go there in the morning, was glad to get back home. Not an insane amount, just don’t like to be around...

solar eclipse April 8. This town is going nuts over it.

We didn't have any trouble last time, but i heard the Carbondale area was nuts. I assume that's what we'll have this time.

solar eclipse April 8. This town is going nuts over it.

We’re smack in the middle of it. Last time it went just a little south of us. I’m hanging around the farm that day, make sure nothing gets torn up or let out.

Undeniably the toughest men in any sport...anywhere.

I’ve done all three. Bull riding is the only one that gave me serious injury. Man on man, the trained mma fighter mops the floor with any of the others.

    How do you heat?

Heat pump with gas backup, a vent free for power outages. New house will have a flat topped free standing wood stove in the basement for the outages and extra cold days, and for the times I want to cook on it.

    Health insurance

I’m fortunate, my wife has excellent insurance through her work. Before we married, I went through a health insurance/marketplace specialist I got from the Dave Ramsey endorsed provider list. Health insurance is all they do. I might still have they’re contract information, don’t know how it...

Can we build it? Oh of course we can.

Just as well do it right, I don’t blame you. Now is the cheapest time to do anything, I’ve learned that lesson.

Can we build it? Oh of course we can.

100x5 ft off treated tongue and groove? The price tag on that makes you grab your heart and reel down the hallway like a drunken sailor I bet.

    Job I don’t like.

It's always hard to end it for an old friend. I had to dig two holes the same day this summer, one for a neighbor, one for my brother. Both old dogs were nearly like my own, they been around for years. Ground was harder than hammered hell that day, took half again as long to do a job I hated...

    mattresses

We bought a Tuft & Needle 2-3 years ago. Been pleased with it for around $900. I'm around 220 pounds and it's held up well. I would also consider the Purple mattress, I've heard good reports on them.

    Craigslist prize bulls

Not that it would help but I’ve half a mind to contact them and say something. And I’m the kind who minds my own business in general.

Heads up winter is coming (hard)

I’ll take a dry winter here. Colder than normal is fine too. Beats fighting mud.

This guy turned down an $8 Million Music Industry Offer

Same here. I was going to surprise my beloved with some concert tickets a few years back. Priced them and noped out real quick.

Jimmy Buffett, 'Margaritaville' musician and mogul, dies at 76

Not a huge Garth fan myself, especially anything after the first two albums. Kenny is a lot the same. Pop radio country is not my thing though, for the most part. More of a Zach Bryan sound for me.
