Watery , sort of glassy you might can save it with the antibiotics shot . Already white they have probably lost it and will be blind in that eye . I have seen a few recover but it’s rare . I’ve battle some cases already this spring. Flys are awful and long stem grass also irritates as they graze .

You sure she is only 8 ? I’ve seen it happen more with older cows 10+ . Nutrition would be one possible, age , and some type health issue .

Good luck ! We’ve been dealing with this for years . So discouraging. My vet still does a rare farm call but most of the time I have to load on the trailer and take them to him .

Mrs Gizmom can hook you up with a bull . They are in the process of moving so it may be a few days before she can but you can count on her !

The only issue is the design of the lid and nipple there is always some milk left . Nipple screws off for cleaning.

Tractor supply has a milk replacer product that has pictures of a calf , a lamb and a kid . Maybe even a piglet ? Calls it a multiple species product.

Smaller dose with the LA 300 .

Ok to feed till calf starts sounding like a goat , stop immediately. 😁 I’d think it would be fine . You could mix with calf milk replacer . I wouldn’t waste it !

Yep , I started this one out on too much cause she was acting starved . 2nd or 3rd day she refused the bottle . So I cut her way back . You learn from your mistakes and pray it doesn’t cost you a calf . Doing good now !

What brand of milk replacer do you use?. Was getting the Dumor brand from tractor supply but on this calf I'm using Land o Lakes brand from my farmers coop .
