Thanks for that info Boondocks. It always saddened me that he stopped singing, but if he lost his range, that explains it.. His incredible voice is like no other, he definitely 'broke the mold'.

Sad about the Martins. When I was a kid we always had Martins. If memory serves, a scout always came first & checked everything out. Don't know exactly what he was looking for, besides a nice Martin house. As mentioned in other post, the starlings were always a problem.

Steve Perry's no longer in the group, not since around 1998ish. He did publically thank & acknowledge the new lead singer though. I was disappointed that he didn't sing.

Journey, with Steve Perry, finally recognized! There was a topic here about Rock music awhile back, & Boondocks mentioned Journey. As a fellow Journey fan, I was excited to share this update :clap:

Dog woke me up scared when a thunderstorm rolled through.Thankful for rain- Everyone's been burning around here, & it's been dry as a tinder box.Last week a neighbor's fire reached our fenceline. Husband & fire dept.got it under control.

Well, I guess I got Asian beetles. They are certainly an unwelcome pest.Flies are out too.Picked some ticks off a cow & horse -can't believe it's February.

Gelbvieh :banana: Now you're talkin my language. That steer is one impressive dude! My husband & I started off with a Gelbvieh/Angus & maintained a red herd, but had to go to a black bull. Are all yours red?
