    Shorty Breeder Be honest I do not know how they operate. All's I know is that this spring they had semen on a bull that had just died and the Main semen company did not have any. It was stored at there facility. Other than that I don't know.

    I moved my cows from April to January. It took 3 years and of course I lost a few cows in the process. Your older cows will do fine. It is hardest on the younger cows. I would suggest that if your are going to keep replacement heifers sell yours and buy ones that will calve when you want...

    Mineral Oil

    Mineral oil is fine, I have seen it used lots of times without any problems.

    ln tank alarm

    We used to have a big problem of tanks going dry or someone taking the nitrogen from the tank. I moved the tanks to my office and it has taken care of the problem since I see them everyday and they get checked often. Remember the old saying out of site out of mind. Good luck Eric

    Synching Cows

    I would say to soon after calving. I have had better luck in moving my calving forward by turning the bull out earlier. Rather than using AI. Also did the drought get you some last year. Just my 2 cents.
