    Zoetis claims that Triangle 10 will not come close to Bovi-shield Gold and Cattlemaster vaccines with FP. I don't have copies of the research and he was trying to get us to buy from Zoetis.

    How many Test Crosses are needed

    In the case of homozygous polled, breeding to 10 horned cows and getting 10 polled calves, 99.9% accuracy. I would think breeding to 10 red cows and 10 black calves would be the same accuracy. It would be quicker to have him tested if it is important to you.

    My first thoughts from your first post was nutrition or disease. I will guess nutrition. Start with a quality loose mineral. If you are using those $6 trace blocks, you have wasted every penny. CSM

    Son of Mr President, is he a Lincoln or a George? The only birth weights listed are 88lbs for bulls and 83lbs for heifers born in 2014.

    Stick-on heat detection patches

    They have worked well for me. Two weeks or so after we breed I put a new one on and watch for the next cycle. I have also used them with a cleanup bull. CSM
