    We have been dropping them and setting them a part in the sun. That helps alot, it's hard to find the beginning of the wrap so I cut it with a knife.

    I have 13 acres of very rocky soil. That is already hay field. I need to apply ag lime and the fertilizer plant tells me I have to disc it in. Has anyone top dressed ag lime on existing hay field? I put the fertilizer on that way. I need to put 2 tons to the acre. Thanks Jeff

    Thanks The cows seem to like most of it. Some of the thin stems and leafy bales they ate really good. The more mature stems the less they like it. But they are eating it and not very hungry.

    Can anyone help me id this weed and how to get rid of it? It looks like a small daisy with a spindly, hairy stem and thin leaves. I have tried 2-4-D and Milestone, but it did not kill it. I cut it but it comes right back. Thanks, Jeff

    Thanks for the info Yes I live in Minnesota. east central part of the state. What is the newer orchard grasses? I have planted Timothy Birdsfoot trefoil and orchard grass. But my soil test shows that I have a very high ph. So I have to put a lot of lime to make anything to grow. Thanks againJeff

    Thanks for the info It has been realy wet this fall and some spots the cattle have made mud. We locked them off and I want to pull a drag over the muddy spots. If I seeded it now would the seed rot? Thanks Jeff
