    Vintage Angus Sale

Makes you really wonder how much money is actually being swapped around from farm to farm just to make their sale numbers look good.

Certain registered folks aren't posting their sale results

Yes, agree with the comment on a good marketing department. And, it seems that they hit the sale date at a good time way before the virus hit. It may not have made a difference with SAV but here in GA and SC, a lot of sales are already being postponed and moved to later dates. Not sure how...

    Dixie Land Delight Production Sale.

Never been myself but have a neighbor that's been a couple of times. He too went mainly for the fellowship. He and wife enjoyed the event and have a great time.

    Partners In Progress Sale.

I think that was gross - $4,300 average

    44 farms

Yea, you're right. However, quality and price go hand in hand. You can bet that any of the customers who bought cattle from these mentioned farms didn't buy them without carefully looking into the EPD's and genomic test scores. They made sure the bulls they wanted to buy or bought, were going...

    44 farms

Yep, overlooked Schaff. They're good people and have good cattle too.

    44 farms

I feel probably the best bulls. Anytime you can average over $7K per head, that says a lot. As far as best sales, along with 44, Express Ranches and Gardiner have some of the best sales in the country. Also, some of the best people too. Just my opinion. You may want to visit one and see for...

    Express Ranches Sale Monday

I guess no one was interested in this sale. 1/2 interest went for $200K. Think a bull is worth $400K?

How much corn is to much corn for a cow?

The multi min is what I'd give too and instead of the mineral block, get a good loose mineral or a good mineral tub. If you go with the tub, usually a salt block is needed too since most tubs don't have salt included.

    Express Ranches Sale Monday

Been reviewing the bulls that Express will be selling on Monday. Leading off lot 1 is Stallion. Nice looking bull with good numbers (if you're into numbers). Need to see video to get good look at this bull. Any predictions on what this lead off will go for? I'm guessing $250K easy maybe $300K.

    Bred Heifer Pricing Question

I hope those prices are there in January. I've got 15 that will be sold. Would love to get the $2K per head.

What's a reasonable price to you as the buyer?

Sorry, SOB. Local sale in NE Ga.
  16. K

Might be time to sell a few off.

I heard today on Rural Radio that the futures were down. Also, local sale barn was selling cattle cheap this week. I don't think I would be selling at the moment. Perhaps buying if I had enough land.

    Dirt cheap

Prices are low here in Ga at local barn. Couldn't believe what cows were going for and I mean good cows in second stage. Wish I had a some open pasture. I think I would have loaded up.

What's a reasonable price to you as the buyer?

Local sale yesterday had cows in second stage going anywhere from $625 to $800. Saw a three in one go for $700. Prices were so low that I wish I had 1,000 acres fenced in with good grass. I believe it would have been a good time to load up.
