    Fuel storage.

Will they fill overhead tanks there? No one will here anymore. Put your gas under a roof or underground. I have several tanks for transport loads of Diesle and a thousand gallon gas tank. "Here" the fuel suppliers will provide tanks and pumps but I do my own so I can buy where I want. Be...

    For-Most head gate

I'd do concrete. I'd also put a cover over it. My plans are to have my whole working area under a cover and if not in a barn at least with a wind break on two sides a fan and heater in it. And a water hydrant close to keep the area clean. And a refrigerator for vaccines. And good lights.

how wide should a loading chute be?

Mine is 31" and to many turned around in it. Have panels in making it 27" and a big cow/bull goes through fine but a 4wt calf can't turn either. My chute for the pots is also 27".

how wide should a loading chute be?

What are you loading? Makes a difference. Adjustable is best if you can do it. I'll measure mine. I can't remember what it is. I had to set some panels in my working chute cause it's to wide.

    For-Most head gate

Yeah, manual. I can't afford hyd at all unless I happen on deal on a used one. The arrow I'm looking at will let me processs a load (20-32) compleatly by myself. I'm needing that bad.

    For-Most head gate

That one ought to be listed for 500 dollars max. For most makes good stuff. I was going to buy one of theirs till I got to looking at diffrent brands. Arrow will be what I buy next. Arrow. For-Most Priefert Are the order I rank them in.

    Making your own hydraulic hoses.

I've said for years I was going to but haven't yet. Biggest reason is so many diffrent hoses and fitting. It would cost me at least 10K to set up a basic supply. And lots of times I'd be splicing a hose rogater instead of building a new one cause I wouldn't have the right end. I can't pay for...

    Deal or Dud

Yep. Speaking of the latching mechanism though, now days it seems they make them harder to use. The old simple push pin is no more.

    Deal or Dud

Shoot, get some of those big heavy ones and have stuff all in the way and it's about all I can do on some of them. Some I have to get real close and hook the pto up then back the rest of the way and hook the implement.

I built one of those too

    Inline Hay Trailers

It's all about speed and using one leader. I have a full day all day every day. Anything to get more done faster helps.

    Inline Hay Trailers

You won't have any trouble at all. They are great trailers. Look at one that has the remote to dump it to.

Deere batteries don't last for me anymore.

    breaking loose muffler bolts?

I've done all the above tricks. They all work or they don't and I twist them off them weld a flat washer and nut to the broken stud to get it out.

    New farm truck

It even better when you get to seem them before they are cleaned up. I'd like to have one just like it.

    New farm truck

Gas or Diesle. Either has a lot of life left. You should be happy and that's not many miles unless it came from the Delta. Mine is a 15 with 115,000, you wouldn't want one that's been where it's been.

    Duramax Shocks

I saw what a dodge can do on this farm. I'd be trading. Every year or less with one of them. I have a 10 duramax with 225,000 on the farm. It isn't bad for maintaince but it's not driven like mine. Mine has to go every day all day and I hate changing trucks to send mine in for work. That's why...
