We are very excited about our upcoming herd sire Rolling Oaks Grover. We have put him on the show road which is something we never do. Thought we would post him on here just because we really like him and thought some might enjoy seeing him.

Bought a calf last fall I am going to cull. Calf has developed warts. Never had warts before. Should I treat warts before cull to sale barn? Will I get much of a discount if I take it as is?

Did 14 day protocol. Pulled cidrs on Thursday Saturday morning heifer in heat and haven't finished protocol. Guess I will go ahead and breed her but don't understand why she came in heat.

I just took the class and they used pink gloves but I was ordering online and saw yellow gloves that are even thinner.

Are some gloves really better than others? What MM thickness do you prefer?

In the past this sale has split off the heifers and then sold the cows. How did the cows do?

So I wormed my cows the other day. Because of the droughts and short pastures the past couple of years, I was thinking it might be a good idea to worm again to get a good kill since I am sure my pastures are full of larvae. A booster if you will. Based on the life cycles of most parasites...

Not completely related but sort of fits. I have a prosthetic leg. It is held on by suction. When wading though mud I lost my leg, similar to how you would loose a shoe or mud boot. I had to resort to sitting down and pulling my leg out of the mud pit and this crawl my way out to drier ground...
