    cow patties

Is there a chart? It seems a good indicator for hay quality, patties vs horse apples(cow apples). I know there is a huge difference from pasture vs hay, but can you pinpoint hay quality from manure?

    fence chargers

Thats the one I have (zabre 100mile) and it works great, trust me. I have high tensile 5 strand(3 hot) and a calf got through it. So I grabbed the wire, the jenny, staples and my son and step son to put an extra strand on. The jenny plants in the ground so I had my kid run up the fence line with...

when do calves, cattle lose teeth?

Was cleaning out my hay feeder(oak bottom) and found a molar. I have 3 calve just weaned today at just under 7 month old, then I have 5 heifers at abot 30-34 month and a 28 month old bull. Who's tooth is it? I would hate to have this thing come lose in my mouth with the sharp spikes on the bottom.

    Calf with broken leg

Is there anything you can do with a calve with a broken leg? Neighbor has (reg)charolais bull calf with a broken back leg, big knot on it and drags it. Milks good and gets round on three legs good. Just curious but what can be done about this? Pen it up, bottle feed, bace it?

    terramycin tablets.

Thanks. I'll take this as there is no red flag with the pills. They are costly but right now I cant get her up, and would have to give her 6 shots with the la200. The limp is not so bad and I think I caught it quick. I built a feeder to keep waste down with square bales and were the are peeing...
