    Glyphosate or not?

For patures, most plants are beneficial and are very nutritious for cattle. If you don't have at least 7 to 20 different plants in a pasture you're depriving your cattle from being able to balance their diet. We use Milestone to spot spray for thistle and iron weed, although cattle like and...

    Help!about choose a bull

If meat quality is desired you should try some Wagyu Semen on at least part of your herd. Depends on your market and goals. Finish time takes longer, but the price you can get for the processed meat is much higher. Here in the USA, it brings about 30% more than prime Angus beef and finishing...

Some thoughts on Certified Angus Beef

That's very contrary to most experiences. Across all the farms I know of with wagyu the consensus is that they are the gentlest and safest to have on your farm. I know lots of them since I've been in beef for a long time. Just turned 3/4 of a century old! Have you ever been around or seen one?

    Few questions about wagyu

I haven't been involved in that cross, but I think it would be a great cross. They are known for great disposition and meat quality. The meat qualities, marbling, marbling fineness and tenderness is a dominant trait in Wagyu. A wagyu cross should result in 50% of the offspring blending the...

    Few questions about wagyu

They are where there is no room for them to get exercise. The beer stimulates their appetite and the message is for muscle tone. Where there is room for them to graze, run and play, it's not needed.

    Few questions about wagyu

I started raising wagyu about 13 years ago. I had a few Angus at the time and learned about the health factors in wagyu beef versus other protein sources. I eventually built a good lineage that now produces much of the sought after qualities. As a consequence, I learned a lot about the breed...

    F-1 Wagyu

Sorry you took offense to my post. Just trying to be helpful. I've been into sustainable agriculture since I came back from Vietnam. I was a tree top level fixed wing recon pilot there and promised myself that if I made it out alive I would move to the country and live a simple life. When I...
