    blue heeler or australian sheperd?

I have the Australian shepherd, she has had no training except what I've done. I wish I could find a local trainer but can't find one. She wants to run to the head instead of from behind. She is some help but doesn't really know what I want her to do. I get her to go into pasture with me and we...

    Picturing cattle is tough

Just crop out and flood the grass, then you got a good picture. My daughter does this a lot with pics. Sometimes my dog just doesn't want to make a family shot so she just catches the pose she wants of her and "Walla", the puppy gets in the pic while she wasn't in the pic at the shooting. Can't...

    just, Good Morning!

I know this is an old thread but you kinda sound like me. Drinking instant coffee with artificial sweetener and non dairy creamer just ain't drinking coffee. I like Luzzianne dark roast straight out not the pot. Hotter the best, especially if it's drip coffee. 😉

    Puzzled

I ride the pasture this evening to look at some calves and see how the others were looking. Everyone seems to be ok and some due anytime now in April. As I left my east pasture and ride over to the west side I saw a flock of buzzards in the woods. I got off my mule and walked in to where they...

    Wrong but consistant

Well I have figured out so far that when I see a calf coming out, then I can pin point the exact date of birthing.😊(not being a smart Alex, just telling how good I am. 😜

    Calves

Just got in with 2 female calves that are Sox 8-1/3 - 9 months old. I bought from an individual that raises cattle. They are angus Brama cross on one and full angus on the other. They are pretty and healthy but never had any thing done to them but worming. My question should I give a pneumonia...
