What have you done lately that made you question your intelligence?

Had a neighbor that decided to rent one of those big belted sanders to sand of their deck. Dad told them you get ahold of that thing because it was a lot of power. They said ya ya ya; it jerked them both off the deck. a good thing the deck was only a foot of the ground.

    Pasture Pet Peeves

I'm so glad I no longer have rentals. I got all the responses why they couldn't pay the rent. One was can we owe it to you, they already did. Dad once had someone say they could do anything they wanted before they moved in, they never got the chance.

    T-post one, me zero

When I was a teenager we had a outboard motor that needed to be overhauled. Dad was helping the guy at the marina drive the pins out of the pistons. He missed and hit this guys thumb. He never said a thing, went and sat on snowmachine he had in his shop. Dad it it hard, as he was giving it...

I have a cow that has a white spot on her left side that almost looks like the North American continent.

    Pasture Pet Peeves

Dad said there were a couple neighbors near Jeffery City that didn't like each other so they each built their own fence with two or three feet between them. It was partially falling down when he was out there in the late 50's.

That cow with the white on her head looks like she had a vanilla milkshake poured on her head.

    T-post one, me zero

I made it through the night without it bleeding to much but broke it open buttoning my jeans this morning. Changed the dressing and then went to feed. It don't look like I will be doing a whole lot the next few days. The thumb and finger is cut open kind of in a bad spot. As dad likes to...

    T-post one, me zero

It was a short post to start with, I should have used the sledge hammer. I wanted the post behind pipe elbow so the water would not push it off. I had 10' piece of pipe to install and one more elbow, well that didn't happen.

Well it was a trip to the ER for some stitches. Stitches in the thumb and glue on the finger. It happened about 1:30 This afternoon, but didn't decide to go to the ER until 4:30. The nurse at the ER couldn't believe that I took a nap before going in. I lifted the post pounder a bit to high...

Severe storms hitting north ala and Ga

One time dad and grandpa were out at sheep camp and decided to make some gravy. Neither of them knew how to make gravy. All they had was drippings and water with a little salt. They didn't know to add in some flower. I think dad said they had four big pots full. It was completely inedible...

Best Cattle Crosses For Unassisted Calving

Out on the Red Dessert they figure 35-40 acres per month. I still need to get out to the ranch to check fences; there is one place near the old railroad siding that the snow drifts over and breaks the fence down in several spots, the rest is not so bad but still needs to be checked.

Severe storms hitting north ala and Ga

Out here in the arid west we were lucky to get maybe half inch over the last several days, and that is if you squinted your eyes, and giggled the rain gage. Up on the hills around us they got snow; I think anyplace over 5000ft got snow.

My ex wife when we were first dating she wanted to cook me a steak, well she did it in the frying pan because that is all she had. It was done, like shoe leather; she killed dead dead dead. After that I cooked the steaks.

    ATV

I think it was gas, I could probably get it for a lot less. It has a broken back window and crack in the front window, but I'm going to pass on it. I am pretty sure I can make the old ATV go through the summer. I have a buddy who I am going to bale his hay, he has about two hundred acres of...
