Well we cut up our beef we killed on Good Friday, today. I was pleased with the way the meat turned out. Seemed to have good marbling throughout.

Well we had our first calf from my new Simmental bull today. The mama is one I raised off of a commercial cow and my angus bull. Other than a little too much chrome for my liking, the bull calf is built pretty good.

What is your thoughts on this feed. I am feeding a couple of steers out and to me this looks like it should be sufficient. Not to mention over $100 dollars a ton cheaper than what I was using.
