    Replacement heifers

I don't blame you for luting every PB angus heifer if you have them cycling that young.

    Cattle Weight

I bought a couple bred cows Saturday at a stocker sale. One was a full blood tiger and the other was a chocolate or bradford type, either she looks to be a good cow. Anyway, the tiger weighed 1560 pounds but she didnt appear to fed to the point of looking like a cow ballon, she looked like a...

    Replacement heifers

I'd say a brangus or a simmi bull for good quality replacement heifers in kentucky. Here in MS I'd use a brahman, brangus, or some other bull with brahman influence.

    Gert Hereford Cross

I love cross bulls on commercial cows. I am using a half hereford half brangus bull on brangus cows and the calves are phenomenal. The gert hereford cross should be a great bull.

    Cattle Trailer

Could I safely pull a 28ft steel cattle trailer with a 3/4 ton truck? Would there be a lot of sway when passing semis and would I be getting pushed around a lot? I have seen it done before but I would like to here from people who either have done this or are currently doing it.

    Limo bull

How do y'all think a black limousine bull would do over some tigers or brangus cows? I would like to have the growth that a continental bull offers but keep the black hide that dominates today's market.

    Brahman/Angus F1 cross

I've never had any of this cross but I have heard really good things about them. I imagine they would preform very well in the south being half brahman and all

    Bottle calf

I have a brangus calf that lost its mother on Tuesday this week. I have it in a dry shaded location with clean water available. It has taken to the bottle well and I'm currently feeding it two quarts twice a day but occasionally she won't take it all and her stomach is growling and making noises...

    Tigerstripe bull

Sorry for not replying to you guys earlier but I got off the forum for a while due to being out of state and numerous other things. If you replied thank you all for your input. I decided not to go with the bull and stick with a brangus and ultrablack bulls.

    Tigerstripe bull

What kind of calves would a tigerstripe bull have if he breeds brangus and brangus baldies? I found a good deal on one and I'm wondering if it would be a good investment since I could be looking for a bull in the next year or so.

    Herding Styles

Would a Heeler and an Australian shepherd be able to work together? My neighbor has an aussie and two heelers and they seem to work well together, is that just luck of the draw and he got really lucky in finding dogs that'll work together or is that a combination that is known to work?

    Herding Styles

Boot Jack, are any of your dogs fixed, does that effect their working ability or aggression? It seems the males would be affected more than the females.

    Herding Styles

How many dogs would I one person need to work 30-60 pairs? I wouldn't think more than two, but maybe even just one, however I'm not really sure.

    Herding Styles

Would a BC or Hangin Tree be able to help me work cattle through pens and such or are they limited to gathering, pen and system work seems more for a heeler from what I've heard.
