That fairly dry nice weather is drowning along with about 40 acres of hay that you could waterski on. Good thing I should already have enough to make it through winter.

The new Lexington stockyard will be open on September 11. That should be within 25 miles or so of you. It is a brand new state of the art facility.

    Sericia

Remedy Ultra will work really well also. Its best to spray it about mid to late June around here. I wiped out about 50 acres of it on an old strip mine a few years ago.

    Another Road Kill

Expensive Hobby The buck that you posted is not road kill. That buck was killed in 2006 by an Amish man named Dan Miller in the Pennyrile State Forest. The picture you posted is actually on Awesome Antlers. If you google Amish Pennyrile buck it will give you plenty of stories and pictures of...

I am running twenty cow calf pairs and a bull on this pasture for about thirty days before i rotate them out. I moved them a few days ago and went in and started mowing. After I finished mowing yesterday I broadcast some fescue seed in a few areas that are really light on grass. Would you...

    Lespedeza outcomes

Thanks for the answers I have a forty acre pasture that is reclaimed strip mine. It has fescue mixed in with it and gives pretty good grazing in the spring and fall but not so much this time of the year. In the hot weather the Sericea really thrives. The land is surrounded by hardwoods on all...

Speaking of the Serica. Do you know any way to get rid of it without harming the other grasses that are mixed in with it?
