LOL - I know what you mean. I have had 2 black bull calves tear their ear tag out. Luckily one is bigger than the other. Between filthy eartags that you can't read and missing ones, sure has been difficult to ID them!!!

I totally agree with you. Breed cows to bulls that compliment them - not by numbers.

In this day and age, it amazes me how people worry about calving HEIFERS. If the heifer is grown out properly (not starved), and bred to a decent (not cow killer bull), she should be able to lay down and spit out a good size calf unassisted. People should be more concerned about abnormal...
