I have a group of heifers which I plan on breeding in December (15months old). Do you always pelvic check? This is my second set of Calves I've ever kept. All of there mothers are good and have never had troubles calving. I wasn't sure if that approach would be fine or if I should Pelvic check...

What red simm do you use for AI? I have two solid red cows, and two red angus/hereford cross cows that I would like to AI to something red.

Nice looking calves! What kind of bull did you breed to? Seems like they are all throwing white somewhere. My cows have a rough date of Sept. 13th as a due date. Hoping they start coming soon. Like you all said above it's the best time of the year when calves are hitting the ground!

Also I don't think they have bad udders, just a bad teat but does that cause bad udders?
