    ECHO Chainsaw Owners Please

I have had a PAS 266 system for 5 or 6 years and it's been great. Never had a minutes problem out of it and has never failed to crank. With the pole saw attachment, I've sawed miles of overgrown limbs, bushes and tress off of fence lines. I also use the other PAS attachments without any...

Best knot for HT barbed wire

Thanks. T posts are 15' apart and the stays are 7 1/2'. It maybe overkill but I didn't want the cows sticking their heads through the fence and pushing on it.

    Simple hay unroller

Thanks for the write up and pics. Looks interesting. I might like to try to build one. Do you have a video attaching it to a roll and using it?

Best knot for HT barbed wire

Finished up the 1100' section of barbed wire fence today and thought I'd throw in a pic of the tail end.

Best knot for HT barbed wire

I've been using Gripples for a couple years and they are great! The reason I was asking about the best knot for HT barbed wire is I was running a little short on Gripples because my order was delayed. Joining the wire with knots and using the Gripples I have when tensioning will let me finish...

    ammunition-crazy

I reload most of my ammo and finding some components is almost impossible. There is some less popular powder out there but primers are scarce. Some oddball caliber bullets are available but the most popular stuff is gone.

    Temporary electric advise

Thanks for the replies. My cows are somewhat familiar with electric because I did a short run of perimeter electric fence earlier this year. They checked it out for a couple days but paid no attention after that.

    Temporary electric advise

I've picked up a wealth of info from this forum and I could use some advise again. i want to replace about 1700' of fence that runs along the highway. I will have to put up a temporary electric fence to keep the cows out while I'm tearing down the old fence, clearing the overgrown bushes/trees...

    Which solar charger?

I bought a Parmak 12 from Southern States and a marine battery from Walmart to operate a temporary fence while I replaced the net wire fence along the highway. Never had to recharge the battery during the 6 weeks it took me to do the work. Checked the voltage everyday at 8kv + but the fence was...

I used the spray on Flex Seal on a leaking water tank seam last year and it's still holding water. No leaks.

    Tree puller question

Thanks for the info. Looks like the wood I was moving doesn't weigh that much

    Tree puller question

I ordered MTL tree/ post puller instead of the Titan and got it early this morning. Everything about it looks good, welds, heavy construction, paint and protected cylinder. At my request the company swapped out the flat face couplers for ag couplers. After checking it over I put it right to...
