    Cattle Prices Going Forward

We need the cheap, lean Argentine beef to mix with the extra fat we produce to make hamburger.

    CAB is a Trademark Brand

They get a few dollars for every carcass certified CAB.

    CAB is a Trademark Brand

AAA owns CAB. All the revenue from CAB goes to AAA. They report it as income. It's really simple.

    CAB is a Trademark Brand

CAB is one of the main sources of revenue for the AAA. It may have been started to sell bulls, but now it's a huge revenue stream.

    Black Hereford

Very, Very few holsteins can meet the ribeye, carcass weight, and muscling requirements of CAB.

    Black Hereford

The other CAB requirements would keep out "old black cows". You should read them.

    Jersey bull on first timers

We've done it here. After the first few hit the ground, we quit checking on them. Zero calving problems. These were jersey bulls on Angus and Hereford heifers. The calves weren't bad at all. A feeder said he could consistently get 60% choice from angus/jersey calves, and they can qualify...

W/O COOL - Carcass Quality Means Nothing

100 miles doesn't sound too bad to me. My wife has to travel almost 100 to the nearest Wal-mart. I have to travel 20 miles to buy gasoline. I have 2 usda custom processors within 60 miles.

W/O COOL - Carcass Quality Means Nothing

By far the largest branded beef program. One BILLION pounds of beef sold per year. It is a pretty big deal.
