Neighbors granddaughter and her new boyfriend did that a couple weeks ago. They shot for 5 or 6 hours. I assume it was a .22 l, otherwise they spent some serious coin that day.

Is this Virginia Wild Rye? I believe this is the same as the first one picture of the thread. Has bearded type seed. It's a sod type grass. Small leaves compared to most of the rest. This one somewhat resembles fescue, but it's not.

I helped my processor today. Had the pleasure of helping butcher and package two animals that I took two weeks ago. I wish I had taken more pictures, but didn't want to bother my buddy. I'm not 100% sure which animals these are exactly, but it's 2 out of 4 that I took that day. Between ages 3...

@Mark Reynolds Found one that had sent the seed out. It's a real pretty grass. The leaf shape is definitely unique from everything else. These leaf blades are 5/8" wide. Stem is close to 3/16 at the ground.
