    I prefer Brahman-Simmental cross as replacements and than an English breed. Brahman bull to Simmental cow if you prefer less ear use a Nelore Bull

    you will still have more than 50% English blood, remember Beefmaster is 50% English- 50% Brahman. My personal preference for beefmaster cows will be Simmental and I will keep the heifers and Limousin if selling all the calves

    I didn't wrote that, BUT as far as I know consumers relate Angus with meat, and many consumers don't even know what color it is, just cattleman relate Angus with Black hided cattle.

    you will need almost 2 full years to really see the benefits or big differences in weight. I use to sell my steers at 10 months, so it won't worth to mess with any of the DM breeds

    at least you should charge $200 the pair for breeding plus a daily rent of your pasture that it should be from $2-$4 but it also depends your location
