qlf liquid feedvs purina AR 10
My QLF distributor is no longer in business. local feed store sell Purina AR 10, which is 30 percent protein with ten percent fat. Wondering if anybody uses the purina product.I have cows calving and three new calves on the ground. thanks Bill

Never used it before, it's formulated about the same as most of them, with the added "benefit" of the accuration feed limiter.
I gave there hi fat accuration tubs a try last year because my feed man gave a pretty good deal on them. My cows were on hay, and got these tubs for supplement. They did maintain condition, but as to if they actually ate less hay, I could not give a solid yes, or no. But last year was a very nasty winter, and maybe if they were on forage it might of made a difference in consumption.

I fed it last year. Pricey but it works really well. My cows gained weight through the winter on it and sorry hay
