How much space do you need between cakes melons squash and gourds to keep them from cross pollinating?

I had pumpkins bout 30 feet away from my Watermelons and Cantaloupe a couple years ago. Everything taste like a pumpkin when I went to eat them.

To completely prevent cross pollination you would need to separate by the distance your pollinators travel...so about a mile.
Rotational sowing can help. Plant gourds weeks earlier than everything else.
Row cover fabric early can help also by providing a physical barrier to pollinators.
Parthenocarpic varieties of cukes with Row cover fabric and hoops to prevent unwanted pollination will protect cukes.
Dont know if there are any parthenocarpic varieties of other cucurbits.

I tried to add a pic showing row covers and hoops, but it kept failing to load. Sorry
