Seems like raking the cow piles would be a lot more strenuous than mowing.

I need the exercise so this method might be an option.

30 minutes of easy work once every 5 to 10 days is hardly strenuous. If concerned, keep a beer and a chair near by to alleviate the stress.

Or get a couple of border collies - they love to eat cow schitte - or at least mine do! LOL

Or attach a piece of chain link to a 4 wheeler and in fie minutes no more cow pies.
