Seen him for the last 2 days around 4:00. Guess I'll setup for him next weekend.

I understand you seeing him the first time the second he should of been hanging on a fence post.

Yeh, I was gonna say too bad you didn't have a .270 in your hand instead of a camera! He's just standing there beggin for ya to take a shot at him! I didn't think they stood still for that long!

Them yotes are not going to bother them cows or calves. My neighbor has 200 acres cycloned fenced to hold coyotes in his pasture to run with hounds, dangest thing you ever seen. Make you rethink yotes and cattle after seing his operation. His cows calf right in the middle of a pen full of yotes no problems. Coyote is a coward and opportunist, now dogs a different story

I'll try to remember it, 'cause no one will believe it unless they see it!

Dog gone and all these yrs I been trying to keep them out.. any market down there for Timber Wolves :?:

Frenchie, I know of at least 2 places within 50 miles that has some land fenced like Campground is talking about. One keeps coyotes on it and the other has foxes. People who have hounds and like to hear them run pay to turn their dogs loose in the penned area ( both of these are 80 to 120 acres ) and listen to the race. Dogs never go out of hearing distance and are easy to catch when they get ready to go home at the end of the night. I don't think there were any cows on either of these two places, mostly woods.

;-)

You can get $75 for a yote in Alabama. Some are set up the same way. People pay to run them with dogs. I'll post some caught yotes later.

Well if you are short.. my brother works for conservation here. Last aerial survey of this area a 10 mile sq grid aerial count was over 500 yotes in breeding season.

Kind of on the same lines with the yotes. I was taking a general livestock pord. class and we when to a hog farm. When we arrived there was this big comotion going on in a barn. Seems that night a cyote got in the pen with some sows and they had killed it and were shredding it into pieces and eating it. The manager said in his 40 years he had never seen hogs act this away. Even after a kill of the same sorts.
