Sounds just like something the Creator of the Universe would do. Here is just a short list of examples of Whole Food Signatures.

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.!

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs.

Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eye .

not meaning to offend but many of those items where bred up by humans and are not in anyway near what their original wild forms looked like, also several mistakes in there for example; sodium content of bones 23%?

Someone sent the article to me so I just passed it on. I tend to try to see God's handiwork in all of creation because I know it's there. I really enjoyed it although I didn't take the time to search out all of it's claims. I did find this one however.

SODIUM CHLORIDE

pH adjusted with sodium. hydroxide or hydrochloric acid if necessary. ... Approximately 25% of the total body sodium. is found in the bone. The regulation of salt and ...

You don't believe people breed different kinds of vegetables? You think they all just appeared the way they do in a seed catalog? Where do you think they came from? You think the original tomato looked like a bright red 2 lb beefsteak? Never seen the difference between a wild grape and a domestic?

A sliced carrot looks like an eye - wouldn't just about any root look the same?

You think bone is almost a quarter SODIUM? I learned bone is mostly calcium, when I was in high school. Grapes look like blood cells? Why, because they are round? (red blood cells are actually flattened, not spherical by the way) So are the citrus that are supposed to look like breasts, and the onions that look like cells, why aren't grapes and onions good breast food? The whole list is rather silly if you think about it at all.

Here is just one link for you: http://www.healthrecipes.com/celery.htm
The five most significant nutrients in celery, in order, are Vitamin C, potassium, folate, dietary fiber and manganese; with vitamin B6, calcium, vitamin B1, magnesium, vitamin A, tryptophan, phosphorus, riboflavin and iron.
don't even see SODIUM listed, much less 23%.

Here is a bit more from http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tnam ... ce&dbid=14 (bold highlighting mine)
The celery that we know today was derived from wild celery. While thought to have its origins in the Mediterranean regions of northern Africa and southern Europe, it was also native to areas extending east to the Himalayas. Wild celery differed a bit from its modern day counterpart in that it featured less stalks and more leaves.

On tomatoes http://www.hort.wisc.edu/mastergardener ... origin.htm :
Tomatoes belong to the genus Lycopersicon (Solanaceae family). Evidence supports the theory the first domesticated tomato was a little yellow fruit, ancestor of L. cerasiforme, grown by the Aztecs of Central America who called it 'xitomatl' (pronounced zee-toe-má-tel), meaning plump thing with a navel, and later called tomati by other Central American tribes. Aztec writings mention tomatoes were prepared with peppers and salt, likely to be the original salsa recipe. The tomato's actual origin is thought to be Peru in South America where it grew wild (like a weed) several thousands of years before making its way north to Central America.
Presently, eight species still grow wild in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
and from the same link:
In 1863, 23 cultivars were listed in the catalog – among them an heirloom tomato named 'Trophy,' the first modern-looking, large red, smooth-skinned variety.

How about YOU post some proof of the claims in the list?

It certainly wasn't my intention to stir anything up. I won't in the future. Sorry about the inaccuracy of the post. I still think it's kind of neat. Who knows if the original tomato had three of five chambers. I really don't care. I do know that although man manages and processes food, he hasn't figured how to make it. Photosynthesis remains an unduplicated mystery. :tiphat:

It's the internets! The newest truly democratic medium of communication - anybody can say anything and anybody can respond. No need to apologize or stop posting. My reaction was not meant to offend either. I can't help myself sometimes needing to correct these sort of general items that look to draw conclusions that are simply not there. I mean come on, the shape of vegetables having anything to do with their nutritional or biological activity...that is something out of the middle ages!

(also photosynthesis is very well understood and not really a mystery at all ;-) )

Amazing * info or disinfo can be everywhere in a nanosecond.. I
I think carrots were yellow at first..I can remember they had a distintive yellow core that tasted different. Now they come in maroon also(developed by Texas A&M)
Tomatos-Beefstake was developed in my memory(I think)
Onions- 1015 type is a new thing..
Humans have changed everything else they've come in contact with, why not veggies.. Just look at dogs and horses

How about this for a response.

S&J While everything you have said here may not be SCIENTIFICALLY ACCURATE it is a wonderful thing to look for the hand of God in the natural world around us and apparently you have. God Bless You. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody want to argue with that?????
