California Decides to Regulate Cow Farts in Order to Fight Global Warming

The scariest thing about it is that any move to mitigate the cost of the regulations moves the operations towards total animal confinement and exorbitant housing/overhead costs. Goodbye cows grazing in pastures.

But yes, many of us knew this was coming. Our industry checkoff-funded representatives however thought we were sniffing too much ivermectin.

This is the same state that wants to tax text messaging as well.

California has the 4th largest heard of cattle at 5.51% behind Texas, Nebraska and Kansas.
