Yellowstone season 5 last night

Help Support CattleToday:

I'm more interested in 1923. Can you tell me more?

Yellowstone isn't very popular in MT. They are causing just what they don't
like on the show Yellowstone. It's contradictory to what they are causing to happen.
We watched the first two segments of season 1 and we never watched again.
I though Costner would do better.
So fake. So dark and too much cussing.

I don't really see it as that dark but then again I have drug a guy with a rope for misbehaving so... I could do with out some of the drama.

I liked 1883 more. It wasn't so "showy", imo.

Kosner is probably one of the less dramatic characters of them all. He and Casey. Beth and Rip and that nonsense I could do with out. They have overplayed RIP and Beth.

... but again no one else is even getting close to bringing up the topics TS is.

I watched one episode. That was enough for me. I imagine it is not very popular in Montana. Of course that is not the audience they are trying to reach. The last time I was in Darby would have been the first year it was on. I have heard rumors that the show and personal are not really popular there.

Die-hard fan! Realistic? Not so much (especially hitting the bison last night). Somewhat accurate? Sometimes. Foul language? I've heard worse. But it's fun! We always have a picnic in front of the big screen in the Man Cave with a roaring fire - which is about as close to "date night" as we get anymore.

Costner has property near Deadwood SD and owns a casino there. He's not popular there either.

He keeps a pretty low profile. I'm pretty sure he sold the casino quite a whole ago. It had the best restaurant in town. Really 5 star.

Most of the people I know in Deadwood didn't care one way or the other about him.

His attitude toward the locals mostly.

Travlr, you were right. I guess I need to go to Deadwood more often. We used to have property near there and went to events held in Deadwood and to dine there. We were there much more often than now. I actually can't remember the last time we went. We really enjoyed the Potter Family when they had concerts there. Great musicians.

I'm pretty sure the Midnight Star closed sometime after Costner sold out his interest. It always seemed to me that the casino was a half-hearted effort. The two restaurants were both good. One more a sports bar and the top floor a top floor restaurant. I think when Costner bailed out the business lost a lot of appeal for people.

I never saw Costner in town. I know some people did, but he didn't hang out there at all. I'm sure there were plenty of people that thought this or that of him, maybe that he was stand-offish, but hell... celebrity has to be tough. People hanging on you all the time.

From what is seen in the commercials Yellowstone just seemed to much like Dynasty and Dallas for me. I had enough of those fake drama's back in the 80's.

All those fake reality TV shows. My version of reality is working near the rear of a cow that has been on green grass. I put CIDR's in heifers this morning in cold rain. Did not have any problems. But washed my hands and had a bit to eat afterwards. Nothing like a good tart granny smith apple for a mid-morning snack. I swear I could smell the familiar faint aroma of something green. I don't think it was the apple, but that apple did taste good. That is realistic reality. No drama at all, just a feeling of accomplishment. Better than any TV show.

I've seen him there, sometimes in a white limo.
