I just got the weigh tape around Lazyboy, my big fat lazy steer, born at 130, I put the weigh tape around him yesterday and it was 44" chest girth, which puts him at somewhere in the 270 lb ballpark... Not bad for 32 days old and his mother being a milk donor to the little girl Tina as well (though it's not THAT much milk). He still gets tired if he stands for a really long time and his contracted tendons will show up.. if he's not tired, you wouldn't notice it though... I figure once they go on pasture and he's forced to be more active it'll go away completely. I guess 'Mega' was the appropriate name for his mother!

I'm going to guess about 700-750 at 205 days, that's about the biggest any of our cows have done and he'll be right up there.. He's considerably bigger than the 6 week old from that HUGE UDDER cow I posted a while back.. If he didn't weigh so darned much at birth I'd have let him keep his nuts
