For woodchucks near your home, you can kill a chuck with old fashion BUBBLE GUM. Yup, just throw 5 or 6 (paper and all) into their holes. Their system cannot digest them and it kills them. Cornell Univ. came up with that. They could not shoot or trap because of location, so they researched and came up with this method. I go to Sams Club and buy a bucket of Bubble Gum. Keep on our quad & throw a handful out when I see an active hole.

Yes, there are several around here that swear by the bubble gum thing too. Never tried it because I need the target practice...

There are a lot less groundhogs here than we used to have.Most people blame coyotes :???: .We could export some to you to try
