Woman shoots at attackers during ATM robbery


According to a police report a woman shot at her attackers when she was robbed at an ATM late Thursday night.

The incident happened at Max Credit Union on Mobile Highway where the woman said that three unknown males approached her. One of the suspects pulled out a black caliber handgun demanding money.

She then drew her own weapon and fired one round at the suspects. The suspects fled in a southbound direction.

Police are looking into video evidence to asses the robbery along with others that have been happening at the ATM.

No injuries were reported.
