Looks like winter is coming early this year, the hummingbirds are already swaming here for migration almost a month early.
Planting a lot of crimson clover this year mixed in with the wheat this year cheapest N you can buy. Crimson is 38 dollars for 50 pounds here this year .

Broadcast and lightly disced the pastures 20 lbs of clover per acre with 50 pounds of wheat. Put clover and wheat in two and broadcast rye grass in two at 50 pounds per acre.

Thats what I am planing with the clover and wheat in the spring. I have the rye planted in bottoms that will be to wet in the spring and gone by the time I could put a baler over that ground.

So you broadcasted first and then disced or disced and then broadcasted?
