windmills ?

Does any one have experience with windmills? I live next to a river and was wanting to know if I could use a windmill to pump water up probably 100-125 ft uphill with a windmill to use to water livestock?

That and I am dying for a windmill cause they look awesome and trying to justify the cost.... :banana:

a wind mill will pump the water up the hill but you have to be directly over the source there's a rod that goes all the way down in the water right under the fan and box area. so you see to pump out of the river the mill has to be close to it and the pump under the mill but if you get it all fixed it will work with some planning used mills that work around 2500 tower and all look at solar panels
