Yep, that's pretty much it. She does it because she loves me. Just like Dad wrangling that belt "this is gonna hurt me more than it does you".
I came to understand that after I had my own kids, but it's still hard to digest as an adult……when my wife is the boss.

She's good at keeping me on the straight and narrow. Poor girl. Probably like herding geese, or cats.

Hey Ken,
While I've got this on my mind, my mom farted one time (that I'm aware of)

I was about 10 years old and walked into the kitchen when she was washing dishes. I didn't know that I had hair growing in my nostrils yet, but I learnt.

I also didn't know mom could get so upset with a question about cooking cabbage (she wasn't). We laugh about it now, but back then it was a mouth slap if I even looked like I was going to spill the beans.
