Well...duh!

I'm saving all my high dollar profits I'm making on cattle to attend the "Resurection" wake of Johnny Carson, John Wayne, and Hopalong Cassidy...lol.

The MJ worshipping is ludicrouss...just another idiot that had a good marketing team and some bizarre behavior and a "singing soprano" girly voice... Can't believe all the "Bros" actually like that hydrogen peroxide bleached black boy...lol... Even some whiteys do too... :lol2:

It's all very well and good to poke fun at this guy, but has anyone actually stopped to consider the hurt and pain his family and children are experiencing at this time?
When all is said and done, he was a human being who loved and was loved- why can't people just shut up and let his loved ones grieve?
What they are experiencing is a long, hard road ahead, and it's not going to go away in a few weeks, months or years.
Whether you liked the bloke or not- he's gone now. Just leave it.
I for one feel nothing but the deepest empathy for his family, particularly his mother- no parent should outlive their child. Just as no child should lose their parent at such a young age.

What does it say. If you think it is worth reading, then quote it.

By the way, just wondering where you are located. Are you in the US? Sort of helps to relate to posters if we know generally where people are located.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Because there's no dignity in it. He had no dignity in life, why can't we let the poor man rest now that he's gone? Why make a circus of it?

The thing I am most intersted in knowing is whether or not the estate paid for all that police overtime it took to guard the ceremony, traffic, mobs and associated mess? California's in huge financial trouble. I'm sure that the city of Los Angleles cant afford this. You can't very well complain about not having any privacy for the familiy if you make the funeral a huge circus.

It's a gravy train. And it isn't the public as much as his family trying to get all they can out of this.

It is definitely being treated as a financial opportunity. Death was probably a good decision, financially. LA is all about the entertainment industry. Using the same reasoning that cities use to subsidize NFL teams with stadiums, I think the city will pay for the funeral expenses. Our sheriff provides a lot of funeral escorts, should he charge for that?

There were probably a 50,000 hotel rooms filled in LA due to the funeral (mourners, celebrities, and press) that wouldn't have been otherwise. That and all the restaurants being full and the multiplier effect probably more than pays LA for the hassle in the long run.

Okay, and I know you are a popular guy there in Hanover and maybe in Madison even, ;-) , but when you die, you are gonna need maybe one escort. I don't think there will be any mobs or tickets given away by lottery, no CNN.

I may be wrong, though. The water board has a cult following...

Who CHOOSES death?
Seriously people, show some compassion.
From what I've heard the organisers weren't even sure if the whole Jackson family was going to attend the PUBLIC MEMORIAL (note- not a funeral).
Bl**dy he!!, this is what's wrong with the world.

The dude (whatever else he accomplished) was a CHILD MOLESTOR. He spent $27 million (that we know of) to settle just one claim out of court and he spent another estimated $80 million in legal fees defending himself against criminal charges and investigations. This is America, money and celebrity buys freedom from justice. If the state had half the evidence brought against any one of us that they had against Jackson we would be doing 20 years. Under those circumstances, I am not going to pretend that I am sorry that he is dead. I only wish he could have died hanging from a rope. Some of the comments here have been a little distastful; but my only compassion is for the poor children who's parents pimped them out to Jackson over the years.
