My last batch of Americanas I brought from Texas still laid an occasional egg at age 12. They were funky and deformed but heck, its an egg.




The lizard stayed in Texas at a zoo.

Got some golden comets about 3 years ago for 0.50 each about 3 years ago, layed the biggest brown eggs I've seen. Nearly every day. They kept that up for about 18 months straight, but took this winter off. Never went broody, but my Jersey Giants handled that.

Silkies and cochin bantams make good broodies.. Game hens make very good broody hens and FIERCE protective mommas too... a little flighty sometimes, but very attentive and teach the little ones quickly.

There's a site I go to that has a resident artificial intelligence (bot?) that answers questions, and you can actually have a conversation with it. You can get it to admit it's getting information based on the quantity of conclusions on one side or the other... rather than on any kind of quality. It has no filter to decide whether anything is accurate, and doesn't recognize any authority other than the "trainers" that write the algorithms. It will agree that your information is valuable and more accurate than its own... but it won't remember or learn. It's interesting how polite and diplomatic it is, but it can't learn... it always goes with the majority opinion... and there's a lot of vegans and animal rights advocates that post a lot.

If AI is so smart, why does it offer the item you already bought?

Back when I was keeping chickens, in the spring when cold would no longer be an issue I'd order 25 baby chicks to arrive on the same day as hen was due to hatch some chicks. I'd slip them under her the first night so she could take care of all of them. It was entertaining watching her try to get 30-35 chicks tucked under her.

I used to keep roosters and half the chicks hatched would be male. So I'd put hard boiled eggs under her and 3 weeks later would sneak out in the dark and put a batch of sexed pullet baby chicks and take away the eggs.

Under the MEMBERS tab, you can see who all visited the page. You see member name, You see member names, visitors and bots Lots of bots. The bots can't post or comment, they are just going to this page to data mine. One reason you will never see me post a pic ( other than one on the internet) and won't see me post an address or phone number, etc. I won't even PM anyone phone numbers, pics, etc. I will PM you and get your email address, and/or phone number, and give you mine, and send you specific info, pics etc. Admins can read your PMs. so any hacker can access them too. This forum is hosted on a server in Panama (China) and owned by someone in Panama. But here lately, you see new members with odd names, and none never list a location. Even with several people asking them to. A lot never respond to any replies. I think these may be AI created profiles. You see it all the time on social media like FB, etc.

You click on the member's user name and a button appears that says start conversation. Although when I click on Warren Allison username the start conversation option does not appear for some reason.

Don't believe everything that is posted. Pretty sure owners are from Texas, USA. I don't think they are Chinese or Panamanian. If you want to send them a letter claiming a copyright infringement, it might go through Panama.

It's not just alexa, it's cell phones in general, whether android or apple. It's been going on for at least 15 years.

Honestly, I have received 10 or 12 letters in the past about my info was hacked or done business with someone in the past and that info was sold.

More I can't remember but you get the idea...
