white muscle disease??

cattle just came in from pasture, only 1 affected
a 4 year old cow that is knuckling on both back joints and dramatic weight loss is this white muscle disease?

White Muscle D is "usually" associated with CALVES. WMD is Selenium Deficiency - very easy to avoid/cure with a good mineral program. If you suspect WMD, you need to give a shot of MuSe - but, with what little description you have given - it could be anything.
The suggestion to see a vet is actually the best info you can get from us. We cannot SEE your animal. Pictures might help.

I realize that wmd is a disease that is associated with calves. we are in an area with grey wooded soil so we definitely have selenium as an additive with our salt. The reason for the Q was because our vet was away for 3 days, and I thought there may have been some input from here. The vet has since been contacted, and the cows problem was a back injury, and that nothing could be done for her. She received the lead cure.
