I just switched from vigortone to Albion minerals basically because I am doing some flushing and I wanted to use the mineral pac that Albion offers. I have been told that it is a good thing to use on flush cattle. Has anyone had any experience with the chelates. I have had 2 cows that are 30-40 days postpartum back in heat so hopefully this is due to nutrition and good minerals. Any thoughts?

If the cattle are short any minerals- especially because of interactions(ie copper vs sulfer)-- the cheleated minerals are more readily available-- and can make a big difference.

If there are no issues its overkill.

I use them for the first week or two on the calves and I THINK I see a difference over regular minerals. But who really knows for sure :(

Zinpro is the only cheleated mineral that I have noticed that does any good. The rest in my opinion are a waste of money.
