Where do you sell your cattle?

I am new to running cattle. I have asked a ton of ranchers in our area where they sell their cattle. Some go to the feed lot, some go to the auction, some sell online and some do private sales. Is there a best place or is it just preference? I would be looking for the best price per pound of course. Are there other options out there?

Depends on the cow and what you're planning on doing with it. Stockyard, private sales, freezer sales. All depends on the market and the cow.

woudl be a good poll imo. But we sell at the stockyard and private. If we can find someone wanting to buy, we sell. That easy lol.
