when to pull a calf

I got a heifer that has been straining a little for about 5 hours but not a lot when do you make the decision to help her have it and start pulling the calf.

At this point I would glove up and check to see what's going on. If it's a bad presentation I would straightn that out, if all appears normal I would let her be.
