When to Lute a heifer?

Trying to remember when to use Lute. Had a heifer that got in with the bull, not sure if she was in heat or not. She is about a year old so afraid to risk it. I was thinking 2 weeks, is that right?
Gotta go to the vet anyway and will ask them but may not go until next week just wondering if I should be in a big hurry.

Wait atleast 5 days, 10-14 days would be better, but it will still work much later as well, but then there would be a fetus to slough.

That's what we shoot for, then another in about 28 days just in case I didn;t count too good theist time around

14 days sis what the vet told me also. Saw one of them at field day this afternoon.
